Portugal will help Serbia improve relations with the EU

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic said today that Portuguese Foreign Minister Luis Amado will propose not only the initialling, but also the signing of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) while Portugal holds the presidency over the EU.
After the meeting with Amado, Djelic said that Serbia is fully aware of its obligations towards the Hague tribunal and that it will fulfill those obligations.
The Serbian Deputy Prime Minister voiced satisfaction with the talks and added that Portuguese officials assured him that Portugal will help Serbia enter the white Schengen list.
