Prime Minister welcomes Novak Djokovic at Belgrade airport

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica welcomed Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic today at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade and congratulated him on big success in presenting Serbia in the world and gave him the state flag of Serbia to unwrap it next time he gets to the winning podium.

At the welcome ceremony tonight organised for the Serbian tennis player after his great success and participation in his first Grand Slam final, Kostunica told Djokovic that many Serbian citizens were late to work on Monday but no one held it against them as they spent the night before watching the tennis finals.
Novak did not win, but no one held it against him, as together with other young tennis players of Serbia he managed to make us a big tennis land overnight, the Prime Minister said.
He wished Djokovic to go on with victories and to celebrate them in Serbia like he has done so far.
Djokovic said that the present the Prime Minister gave him, the national flag, commits him to be even more successful.
He presented the Prime Minister a signed T-shirt of his.
