Direct talks between Serbia and Kosovo Albanians to begin in New York on September 28

Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said today in Podgorica that direct negotiations between Serbia and representatives of Kosovo Albanians will begin on September 28 in New York and they will deal with the future status of Kosovo-Metohija.
The Serbian negotiating team will offer Kosovo Albanians the widest possible autonomy, but within the frames that guarantee territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, as an internationally recognised state and a UN member.
