Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic and Montenegrin Minister of Foreign Affairs Milan Rocen agreed in a meeting today that Serbia and Montenegro should promote good neighbourly and friendly relations.

The two officials agreed that the Serbian and Montenegrin sides put efforts to overcome problems following a banned entrance to Montenegro to bishop Filaret.
It was also agreed to launch a joint committee for economic cooperation between the two countries.
Serbia and Montenegro will in October jointly launch an initiative on technical cooperation in the process of European integration.
Djelic repeated that Serbia expects support from Montenegro as regards to preserving its territorial integrity and state sovereignty.
