Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic received competitors of the finals of the world’s largest student technology competition the Imagine Cup, student of the High School of Mathematics Vladan Simov and members of SMOR team Neven Tubic, Milan Stojic, Ivan Vujic and Sava Cajetinac.
Vladan Simov, being the youngest competitor in the finals, won third place in the category of Project Hoshimi whereas SMOR team came fourth in the software design category for their interactive driving simulator project.
Djelic congratulated the young participants on their achievements and promised that he will stay informed on all their future activities.
Stressing the importance of support to young talents, Djelic emphasised that the government supports quality education and better work conditions so that young people could remain in Serbia and assist its economic development.
