Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic informed today European Parliament rapporteur for Serbia Jelko Kacin on the latest activities of the Serbian government in the area of European integration and progress in reforms.

Djelic stressed that Serbia is determined to fulfill all obligations for acquiring EU candidate status by the end of 2008.
Kacin said that there is will in the EU to further motivate Serbia on the path to Europe, and stressed that Slovenia will support countries of the West Balkans in getting candidate status.
He underlined that the initiative for partition of Kosovo-Metohija must absolutely be rejected.
Jelko Kacin is on a visit to Serbia within the framework of preparations for the regular report to the European Parliament.
