Ronald Van Dartel and Bozidar Djelic
Djelic told a press conference at the government building that the Dutch government set aside around €13.5 million for these projects and all Balkan countries may apply for them.
Djelic said that these are donations which ministries may apply for by proposing projects in infrastructure, environment, agriculture and other remits which Serbia finds interesting.
The number of projects is not limited. Projects whose realisation will last no longer than a year and a half will be allocated up to €150.000, whereas projects for which up to three years is needed will get around €300.000, explained the Deputy Prime Minister.
According to Djelic, Serbia could look up to the Netherlands as one of the 15 largest exporters.
In 2006, Serbia exported €106 million worth of goods and services to Holland and imported €136 million, said Djelic.
Dartel reiterated that all Balkan countries may apply for these projects, including Bulgaria and Romania which recently joined the EU.
