Djelic to accept the Universiade Flag in Bangkok

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic will accept the Universiade Flag in Bangkok tomorrow, at the closing ceremony of the 24th Summer Universiade, from the Prime Minister of Thailand Surayut Chulanon.
The receiving of the flag will officially make Serbia the host of the upcoming Universiade, which will be held in Belgrade from July 1 to 12 in 2009.
The closing ceremony of this students’ sports event in Bangkok will be attended by the delegation “Universiade Belgrade 2009”, which includes the president of the executive committee of the event Aleksandar Sostar.
Summer Universiade 2009 will be the largest sports event ever to be held in Serbia.
