Kostunica congratulates Ivanovic, Djokovic, Serbia’s junior basketball players

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica congratulated top Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic on winning the Montreal Masters Tournament. Djokovic triumphed over Swiss Roger Federer in the finals.

“Dear Djokovic, the only thing I can say to you after such a triumph is – you are the best and thank you in the name of all of Serbia! Your sincere admirer, Vojislav Kostunica,” reads the congratulatory message by the Serbian Prime Minister.

In the congratulatory message to Serbian tennis player Ana Ivanovic on winning the Los Angeles tournament, the Serbian Prime Minister says,

“Dear Ana, your success in Los Angeles has delighted Serbia. You were unsurpassable and represented Serbia with dignity. I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart on winning this tournament and wish you many successes in the future.”

Kostunica also congratulated the men’s junior basketball team of Serbia on winning the Under-18 European Championship.

“Well done boys! You have achieved a great success by winning the Under-18 European Championship. The fourth gold medal in the category of men’s junior team shows that Serbia is the country of best basketball players and we are yet to rejoice over many future victories,” reads the congratulatory message.
