Serbian Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Slobodan Samardzic said today that consultations with Serbian parliament caucuses and parties on the text of a new resolution on Kosovo, which will be submitted to deputies on Monday, have been completed.
Samardzic told Tanjug news agency that this document will stipulate how the state, in this case parliament as the main body, should react to the situation in the international community and to many discussions that are being conducted concerning the proposal of the resolution in the UN Security Council.
He voiced hope that the discussion in parliament will be fruitful and constructive and that on the basis of consultations, it is expected that the resolution will be accepted with a majority vote.
Along with the final proposal of the text of the resolution that will be submitted on Monday, deputies will also be given the report of the negotiating team from Vienna talks that were held from February 23 to March 2 this year.
