The appointment should help improve communication with the media and all segments of domestic and international public regarding Serbia’s EU integrations, economic reforms, relations with international financial institutions, implementation of the sustainable development strategy, fight against poverty and promotion of the Serbian economy abroad.
Tamara Glisic
Prior to this post, Glisic worked for five years as corporate communications consultant at the British PR agency Mmd Public Relations Consultants and headed the company’s office in Belgrade.
In the past several months she was the agency’s deputy director in Moscow. She graduated in law and began her career in 1993 as a journalist at the radio and periodic editions of Duga and Profil magazines.
Apart from Serbian, she is fluent in English, Spanish and Russian.
The Deputy Prime Minister said he is certain that the new member of his team will help the public to better understand all projects he is in charge of.
This is also another proof that the most talented people in different fields of work are beginning to return to Serbia and are ready to help the government in its efforts, said Djelic.
