Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic said today in a meeting with a delegation of the UK Foreign Affairs Committee that the aim of the Serbian government is to sign the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU by the end of 2007.
Djelic expressed assurance that the UK will support Serbia’s EU integration and stressed that Serbia supports further negotiations on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija, noting that an outcome set in advance is absolutely unacceptable for our country.
The meeting was attended by Committee Chairman Mike Gapes and members Andrew Mackinlay and John Stanley.
