Srdjan Djuric
Reacting to a statement from US Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Fried in Podgorica, Montenegro, that Ahtisaari’s plan is good for the continuation of negotiations, Djuric told Beta news agency that without Ahtisaari and his proposal, the idea of new negotiations is more than useful.
He noted that it is realistic to expect that the international community will realise that new negotiations undeterred by Ahtisaari's unsuccessful proposal should be organised.
According to him, negotiations make sense and can be called negotiations only if their outcome is not pre-determined.
