The Serbian Statistics Office has stated that average gross salary in the Serbia in May 2007 stood at RSD 37,668 which is up by 1.48% in nominal terms than the average salary in April 2007 and by 0.12% less in real terms.

Compared with the same month of 2006, May gross salary rose by 24.3% nominally and 20.56% in real terms.
May net salary rose 30.26% nominally and 26.34% in real terms against May 2006.
Average gross salary in the period January–May 2007 when compared to the same period 2006 went up by 23.69% in nominal terms and 18.7% in real terms.
Average net salary in the period January–May 2007 against the same period 2006 went up by 29.67% in nominal terms and 24.44% in real terms.
