The Henkel Ceresit factory for production of adhesives is a greenfield investment worth €5,232,000 and it will create 60 new jobs. It will also help Serbia increase its foreign trade exchange.
Dinkic said that this factory was built in the industrial zone of Indjija in only eight months and announced that the Serbian government will set aside some €150,000 for employment incentives.
He explained that Henkel will get €2,500 per each new employee. The Serbian government will set aside from €2,000 to €5,000 for each new workplace in Serbia.
Minister without Portfolio for implementation of the National Investment Plan Dragan Djilas said that the new Serbian government's aim is to improve living conditions of all citizens and that its main goal is to create more jobs.
Deitzer said that the new factory will produce 100,000 tons of ceresit per year, while annual production of ceresit in Serbia will be some 150,000 tons because the plant in Krusevac will produce an additional 50,000 tons. He added that Henkel is one of the world's leaders in the production of adhesives, with an annual turnover of almost €5 billion.
The ceremony in Indjija was attended by many businessmen from domestic and foreign companies, members of the diplomatic corps and President of the Vojvodina Assembly Bojan Kostres.
