Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said last night that the idea of an independent Kosovo was put aside a long time ago and that a lot has been done to preserve Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Kostunica told RTS that all further efforts should be made to preserve the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty noting that some of the initiatives that were presented and which are to be discussed are certainly important for further talks on the status of the southern Serbian province.
