New government ready to take EU integration road

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic met today with EU Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn.
Rehn hailed the forming of the democratic and pro-European government of Serbia, which clearly shows the government’s readiness to take the EU integration road.
The two officials discussed modalities for continuation of Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) talks and their urgent conclusion.
They also discussed drafting a plan that should result in full visa liberalisation after all necessary steps are taken.
Djelic expressed readiness to dedicate himself fully to Serbia’s EU integration and expressed assurance that the new government will gather all those who have so far worked on opening European perspectives for Serbia.
