Parivodic, who is leading the Serbian delegation in Zagreb, supported the integration of regional infrastructure, trade and other areas and particularly emphasised the importance of Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA).
He pointed out that over 70% of Serbia’s citizens strongly support the idea of Serbian integration in the EU whereas 70% of Serbian students who cannot freely travel across Europe, adding that the main problems in the region include the position of refugees.
He also noted that the economic situation in Serbia is good and stable, recalling that in 2006 our country had the fastest economic growth recorded since the democratic changes.
The Minister said that the issue of Kosovo-Metohija was discussed several times in the Zagreb summit and stressed that to Serbia March 17, 2004, when Albanian extremists violated and looted the province, is the same as September 11, 2001 for the United States.
