Adaptation of future court of appeals in Kragujevac begins

Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic and Director of HPS HIO - Protection System from Novi Sad Mirjana Oberknezev signed today an agreement on the beginning of the first phase of adaptation of the building of the future court of appeals in Kragujevac.
Funds worth €550,000 for complete reconstruction of the building were secured from the National Investment Plan. The first phase of the works that should be completed in one month costs RSD 7 million.
Stojkovic said at a press conference held on that occasion that by the end of the year Serbia will get a new network of courts of appeal. He said that those courts in Belgrade, Nis, Kragujevac and Novi Sad will have departments for the fight against organised crime and special prosecutor's offices.
He said that by the end of the year, competitions will be held and judges appointed in judiciary institutions in Kragujevac, which is becoming the administrative judiciary centre of Sumadija.
