Stojkovic to attend Fourth European Lawyer Conference in Vienna

Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic said today that the Fourth European Lawyer Conference in Vienna will focus on exchange of information on cooperation and coordination in criminal investigation and criminal pursuit.

Stojkovic, who will be honorary guest at the conference, announced that he will meet with European Commission Vice-President Franco Frattini, who is in charge of negotiations with Serbia as regards to visa regime and readmission.
The conference will close with a report on European criminal judiciary and steps which should be taken to ease the execution of cross-border decisions, which is essential in the fight against organised crime and terrorism, Stojkovic said.
