Serbian Minister of Science and Environmental Protection Aleksandar Popovic said today that reconstruction of loading stations at Pancevo oil refinery, which will reduce the emission of hazardous particles by over 90%.
Popovic told a press conference that new equipment produced by Dutch OPV has been installed and added that this is not the end of investment planned for the Pancevo refinery.
General Manager of Serbian oil company NIS Srdjan Bosnjakovic said that nearly €50 million will be allocated for the facilities for ecological purposes and meeting European standards.
According to him, €400 million is planned for complete overhaul of refineries in Pancevo and Novi Sad.
