WHO delegation on working visit to Serbia

The Serbian Ministry of Health stated today that a delegation of the World Health Organisation (WHO) led by regional director for Europe Marc Danzon is on a two-day visit to Belgrade.
The delegation will check the preparation activities for the 57th meeting of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe to be held at the House of parliament from September 17 to 20.
The WHO delegation that arrived yesterday met with representatives of the Serbian Ministry of Health, Belgrade City Hall and the WHO office in Serbia. On that occasion, Danzon voiced satisfaction with the visit and the preparation activities.
In September, the Ministry of Health will publish a survey on the Serbian public health with final results, prepared in association with WHO and the World Bank. A three-day course will be organised for journalists to get acquainted with the principles and aspects of WHO's activities.
