He told Beta news agency that the agreement covers veterinary service, phytosanitary and quality control of agricultural and food products.
He said that the exchange between the two countries in the field of agriculture and food industry has so far been symbolic and from 2003 to 2006 totalled $16.6 million, while Serbia's deficit was $15.9 million.
Serbia exported frozen fruits, juices and bottled water, and it imported peanut, garlic and frozen hake.
The Protocol on phytosanitary conditions for export of wheat from Serbia to China, also signed, will help improve exports, enabling the export of mercantile and seed wheat, which is a great chance for Serbia.
