Police to secure peace and safety for all citizens

Serbian Minister of Interior Dragan Jocic said today that the police are resolved to suppress and wipe out terrorist threats, and to provide peace and safety for all citizens of Novi Pazar and the entire area.
Jocic said in a statement to Tanjug news agency that Serbs and Bosniaks build and will continue to build friendly relations. He underlined that with joint efforts, we must prevent all extreme groups from jeopardising a peaceful future for everyone.
He added that the wounded police officer who was shot in today's anti-terrorist action near Novi Pazar is recovering well.
