Cuprom gets extended deadline for submitting guarantee for payment

The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated today that in the privatisation process of RTB Bor it has reached the decision that the deadline for the Romanian company Cuprom for submitting guarantee for payment is to be extended by three days.
According to the statement, if Cuprom does not submit the guarantee for payment within the extended deadline, the Agency will terminate the contracts on sale of property and transfer of license of RTB Bor in accordance with the law on privatisation.
Keeping in view the importance of the privatisation of RTB Bor, the Agency has directed an appeal to all participants in the process and media to refrain from influencing any decision and possible privatisation scenarios.
The process is still underway and it is most important that it remains within the normal legal and market frameworks, and only in that manner it can be ensured that the privatisation process unfolds in the best interest of the company, employees, buyer and the state, reads the statement.
