Eight foreign banks to compete for Jubanka

The Serbian Ministry of Finance stated that its Bank Rehabilitation Agency has examined all applications for the privatisation of 88 percent of capital of Jubanka.
Eight of eleven banks entered the second round of tender sale, including Alpha Bank (Greece), Bank Austria (Austria), Erste Bank (Austria), General Electric Europe Capital (Great Britain), Nova Ljubljanska Banka (Slovenia), OTP Bank (Hungary), Societe Generale (France) and Unicredito (Italy).
The banks are invited to purchase tender documentation by July 15 so that they could submit bids by August 30.
