Serbian Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo announced today that on Thursday, April 12, a delegation of the Serbian government will travel to Washington DC to attend the spring meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on April 14 and 15.
Bubalo told Tanjug news agency that besides himself the delegation will also comprise Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations Milan Parivodic, Governor of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Radovan Jelasic and his associates.
He said that attendance in Washington DC is always an opportunity to analyse the economic situation in Serbia, budget revenues and expenses, public expenditure, and to comment the IMF’s stand on implementation of structural reforms in Serbia.
Bubalo said that during the talks, focus will be on new projects in Serbia with the support of the World Bank.
