In a telephone statement from New York to Beta news agency, Djuric said that tomorrow morning, Kostunica will meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
He said that Serbian Ambassador to the UN Pavle Jevremovic has directed a letter to the Security Council regarding the presence of Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu at the session of the Security Council, to point out that in accordance to the UN SC Resolution 1244 and the Constitutional framework for Kosovo-Metohija, the province can be represented in the UN only by the UNMIK.
Djuric explained that representatives of the interim institutions of Kosovo can be present in the UN Security Council only in the capacity of members of delegations which are led by the UNMIK chief, which was the practise during previous sessions.
