Humanitarian exhibition of works of patients of Special prison hospital opened

Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic attended today the formal opening of a humanitarian exhibition of visual and other works of patients of the Special Prison Hospital. The exhibition took place in Belgrade's Dom Omladine.
The exhibition "Traces in the Soul" is the third exhibition of paintings, icons and knitted goods that are being sold at very low prices until April 6, when the exhibition closes.
Head of the Special Prison Hospital Miodrag Andjelkovic said that part of funds from the sale will be used for the purchase of new materials necessary for prisoners to continue their occupational therapies and re-socialisation, while part of the funds will be used for the formation of a special ward at the hospital that will be called No-drugs ward.
Occupational therapist Dragana Kalicanin told the Tanjug news agency that out of approximately 500 patients, 100 use this form of occupational technique, which gives excellent results in the process of their return to normal life.
This campaign was supported by the Embassy of Great Britain in Belgrade and the Serbian Ministry of Justice.
