Dragan Jocic
Jocic told Tanjug that Solana said that the EU supports an imposed solution, which in other words means the seizure of 15% of Serbian territory.
He added that is also obvious that Solana disrespects the fact that Serbia resolutely rejects every possibility of altering its internationally recognised borders.
The Minister noted that the logics under which Serbia has no right to be asked is led by EU’s alleged friendship to Serbia and recalled that it was Solana who ordered the bombing of Serbia, which had far reaching consequences.
It is now the moment to give up the ultimatum practice and to start the negotiating process in order to reach a stable, sustainable and compromising solution, as Serbia strongly refutes all ultimatum threats and requests, Jocic said.
EU officials Javier Solana and Olli Rehn prepared a document stating that Kosovo-Metohija is a crucial priority and one of biggest challenges for Europe and that the EU together with its partners will back the proposal by UN Special Envoy Martti Ahtisaari.
