Visa relaxations for Serbian athletes participating in international sports contests

Director of the Serbian EU Integration Office Tanja Miscevic and Vice President of the Serbian Olympics Committee Snezana Lakicevic-Stojacic spoke today on the proposal of an agreement relaxing the visa regime for Serbian athletes participating in international sports contests.
The eased visa regime would apply to members of national teams and their accompanying staff. Visas would be multi-entry whereas the procedure for getting them would be shortened.
Miscevic and Lakicevic-Stojacic said that these visa relaxations are expected to come into force early next year, which will significantly reduce expenses for visas of athletes and make international sports competitions more accessible to Serbian athletes.
