Samardzic, Kojen present Serbian amendments to Kosovo status plan

Coordinators of the state negotiating team for the Kosovo status talks Leon Kojen and Slobodan Samardzic ended a series of meetings yesterday with representatives of member states of the UN Security Council and international organisations.
Samardzic and Kojen met with almost all ambassadors of UN Security Council members, including Russia, China, United States, Great Britain, Indonesia as well as with representatives of the African Union and Cuba, which presides over the Nonaligned Movement.
Samardzic told agency Tanjug that Serbian amendments to the Kosovo status plan offered by UN Special Envoy Martti Ahtisaari were presented.
Kojen noted that the Serbian delegation stressed that Serbian proposals refer to decentralisation issues, protection of religious and cultural legacy, property relations and privatisation.
