Europe impressed by amount of foreign investments in Serbia

Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations and coordinator of the Ministry of Finance Milan Parivodic stated today that a number of participants in the European Business Summit in Brussels said they were impressed by the amount of foreign investments in Serbia.
Parivodic, who is taking part in the Fifth European Business Summit themed “Europe is Our Business”, gave a statement to the Tanjug news agency saying that he met today in Brussels with EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mendelson and discussed the Central European Free Trade Zone Agreement (CEFTA) with him. He also said that he met with executives of several multinational companies interested in cooperation with Serbia, such as Nokia, General Electric and Shell.
The Fifth European Business Summit gathers several hundred leading European officials and businesspeople, among whom are European Commission’s Vice President Jose Barroso and a number of European Commissioners.
