Technical round of negotiations on visa relaxations, readmission on Tuesday in Brussels

Director of the Serbian government's EU Integration Office Tanja Miscevic said today that the technical round of negotiations between Serbia and the European Commission on concluding an agreement on visa relaxations and a unique agreement on readmission will be held on March 20 in Brussels.
Miscevic told the Tanjug news agency that these are the final technical negotiations at which both agreements will get their final form and that is when it will be known which categories of citizens will be given visa relaxations.
In the previous rounds, EU member states responded very positively to requests of the Serbian negotiating team regarding the visa relaxations.
As for the readmission agreement, Miscevic said that the number of people illegally residing in the EU who should return to Serbia is not specified in the text of that document.
