According to the statement, besides major interest in the Serbian stand shown by visitors the first of the contracts was also concluded; the company CIM College from Nis signed contracts with the International Centre of Informatics and Electronics (ICIE) from Russia and the Research Institute of Applied Mathematics and Certification (RIAMC), also from Russia.
Both contracts envisage joint realisation of projects in informational support for quality management, which will be financed by the Russian Federal Agency for Science and Innovation. CIM College and the two Russian partners will invest software solutions in both projects whose value has been estimated by the prestigious Institute for Informatics in Karlsruhe, Germany, at €2 million.
The Russian government will provide a minimum of €1 million in financial support for each project. The CIM College has thus reached an important point in its cooperation with Russian partners, which began at the previous CeBIT. Russia is this year’s partner country in the German CeBIT and is currently the fastest growing IT market in the world.
The Serbian national stand is to be found this year as well in hall four, (number G 48) in which traditionally world giants in IT such as Microsoft, IBM, SAP and others exhibit. The Serbian stand presents the companies CIM College, Guidance, HCP, Logo, Navigator, Telefonija and Veridix, as well as the Serbian cluster producer of software (SC) to international expert public. The stand is modern and was designed by the SIEPA for the previous CeBIT when it made its world debut (in CNN reportage). The stand has been given a new look and made larger this year.
A cocktail held last night at the stand gathered some 150 diplomats, foreign investors and foreign partners of domestic firms who are exhibiting at the fair. The cocktail was organised as part of the overall presentation at the stand by the SIEPA, who has organised the participation of Serbian firms in CeBIT for the fourth time this year.
The Serbian stand which covers an area of 114 square meters presents seven domestic IT firms and SC (Serbian cluster of software producers), under the title “Serbia –Vision for the future”, reads the statement.
