Raskovic-Ivic will travel to New York on March 17, to participate in the regular session of the Security Council on March 19 at which UNMIK chief Joachim Rucker will present details of the three month report on the work of the UN mission in Kosovo-Metohija.
The President of the Coordinating Centre will address the session on the realisation of the 13 priorities of the Contact Group which the international community has proposed to Kosovo institutions, as well as the fulfilment of standards.
Raskovic-Ivic will speak in New York on the restrictions on freedom of movement, the systematic persecution of Serbs, the emergence of paramilitary groups, kidnapping and other forms of human rights violations.
Coordinators in the Serbian team for negotiations on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija, Leon Kojen and Slobodan Samardzic will also travel to New York.
The Serbian delegation will also hold several bilateral meetings during the visit to New York.
