Loncar told Tanjug that this is an opportunity to discuss the Preamble of the Constitution and principles of territorial organisation of power and to once again point out the legal fact that Kosovo-Metohija is an unalienable part of Serbia, in accordance with all valid international and legal documents.
Since the report of the Venetian Commission states that the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia is almost completely according to the European standards, no bigger problems are expected during the discussion, Loncar said.
He emphasised that the session of the Commission will be a good opportunity to once again show that Serbia, after the adoption of the new Constitution, is organised as democratic, legal and modern state, in accordance with European principles and standards.
He voiced satisfaction with the fact that representatives of Serbia were invited to participate at this meeting in Venice and added that the Serbian government is yet to determine the composition of the Serbian delegation.
The priority of the Serbian delegation will be to show that with the adoption of the new Constitution, Serbia has become a modernly organised, legal and democratic state, Loncar emphasised.
