Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic attended today the signing of the agreement on using the building of the Institute for Health Care in Kragujevac for the needs of the future court of appeals in this town.
The agreement was signed by Director of the Serbian Property Directorate Milan Tomic and Director of the Institute Dejan Baskic.
Stojkovic said at a press conference held after the signing of the agreement that Kragujevac today officially became the judicial centre of central Serbia.
The reconstruction works on the building will last one year and will cost €550,000. Stojkovic added that the construction of buildings in which courts of appeals will be placed has begun in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis as well.
Assistant Minister of Health Vasilije Antic said that €4 million has been secured from the National Investment Plan for construction of a new building of the Institute and health centre and added that the construction will be completed within one year.
Kragujevac Mayor Veroljub Stevanovic stated that the Institute and the health centre will be temporarily located in a nearby building within the complex of the Clinical Centre.
