The statement says that at the meeting government experts presented the progress achieved in the harmonisation and implementation of laws in these sectors, and as for internal market, the collocutors discussed financial services, banking system reform and the system of supervision over the finance and insurance sectors and securities.
The meeting especially looked at the implementation of regulations regarding the protection of intellectual property rights and public procurement, as well as foreign investments in real estate and the implementation of laws referring to real estate traffic following the adoption of the new Constitution.
European Commission representatives and government experts discussed the competition protection policy, including the implementation of regulations in this sector and the promotion of the rules of competition.
A special subject of the meeting was control of state assistance, its transparency, implementation of legislature and the state of administrative capacities necessary for the implementation of laws in this sector, concludes the statement.
