In the opening of the seminar "Management in Health Tourism", which is carried out within the National Investment Plan, Dimitrijevic said that he expects a large inflow of foreign investment in the Serbian tourism adding that only then can we speak of Serbia’s comeback on the international tourism map.
He recalled that over the past three years, master plans for top priority destinations were made, namely for Stara Planina, Palic and Tara whereas seven similar projects are in the making.
According to him, during the next decade Serbian tourism will need one national investment plan each year, worth between €30 million and €50 million.
The seminar will be held at the Master Centre of the Novi Sad fair and will last until March 3.
The aim of the programme "Management in Health Tourism" is to provide tourism workers with new knowledge and skills in health tourism through a series of lectures and training sessions. The programme should include up to 520 students, who will be identified according to tourist clusters previously established by the Strategy of development of Serbia's tourism.
