Courts increase efficiency

Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic said today that the efficiency of regular and commercial courts has considerably increased which is demonstrated by the decreasing number of citizens' demands that the Ministry take action by the right of principle.

After two hours of answering citizens' questions by phone, Stojkovic told the press that the data indicate a 20% increase in the efficiency of regular courts and 50% of commercial ones.
The Minister stressed that this is due to an improvement in working conditions in courts since €30 million was invested in their equipment, adding that court employees also had their salaries increased.
