Serbian Minister of Interior Dragan Jocic will lead the Serbian delegation at the Fourth Annual Ministerial Review Conference on Border Security in South East Europe, which is being held today in Dubrovnik.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Interior, Jocic will present on the occasion results achieved in the reform of border police in Serbia, and will state how the demilitarisation of Serbian borders and the take over of complete control of borders by the border police will be of extraordinary significance in improving security in the entire region.
The Minister will also speak on the importance of existing regional cooperation in this area, which allows joint activities by the border management bodies of all countries in the region, as well as joint education and training, reads the statement.
