Naumov visits miners injured in Bor mine

Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Radomir Naumov today visited miners injured in a mining accident which occurred yesterday in the Bor mine Jama. The miners are currently in a hospital.
The management of the Bor mining and metallurgical complex acquainted Naumov with details of the accident. The Minister expressed his grief over the accident which claimed the life of one miner, and pledged to modernise mines in Serbia.
Naumov pointed to the fact that improving conditions in mines in Serbia requires long term efforts and investment, and added that mining in Serbia will soon become a major branch of the economy.
