Red Hat opens regional centre in Vrsac

One of the largest and most recognised companies dedicated to open source software Red Hat opened last evening in Vrsac a regional centre for support, research and development for southeast Europe.
Serbian Minister of Science and Environmental Protection Aleksandar Popovic said at the opening that the centre will have 30 employees in the beginning and later that number will increase.
This is a joint project by the state, Vrsac and the company Red Hat. Vrsac is known as a city which has created good conditions and climate for foreign investment, said Popovic.
The company Red Hat will provide expert services in the area of information technology in local languages to its partners, developmental teams and all users in ten countries of the region. The developmental centre is located in the commercial building “Millennium”.
