Dimitrijevic, who is heading the Serbian delegation in the international fair tourism FITUR 2007 in Madrid, stressed that he spoke with vice president of the Spanish Federation of Industrialists and president of the State committee for tourism Pascual Gonzal, who expressed readiness to invest in Serbia.
He noted that Spanish people have shown great interest in Serbia and announced that a special presentation on Serbia’s investment opportunities and tourism could be organised in the next two months in Madrid.
Dimitrijevic added that there is great interest in Belgrade as the most important tourist destination in Serbia.
According to him, there were several meetings with low cost airliners and tour operators that are interested in cultural and congress tourism, short visits to cities as well as to Serbian internationally recognised events.
