Sanda Raskovic-Ivic
The Coordinating Centre says in a statement that during her visit to New Delhi, Raskovic-Ivic met with Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anand Sharma and Sonya Gandhi, President of the Congress Party and widow of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Raskovic-Ivic stressed that Serbia is actively advocating the continuation of talks on Kosovo future status.
Sharma emphasised that India is in favour of a solution to Kosovo status that would result from negotiations.
At the invitation of the Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Congress Party, President of the Serbian parliament's Committee for Kosovo-Metohija Dusan Prorokovic also visited India and together with Raskovic-Ivic took part in a conference themed "Peace, Non-Violence and Empowerment – Gandhian Philosophy in the 21st Century".
Raskovic-Ivic held a lecture at the Indian Foreign Affairs Council themed "Kosovo: International and Legal Challenges and Terrorism". The lecture was delivered before Indian diplomats, politicians, media representatives and scientific workers, adds the statement.
