Police take control of border with Macedonia

The Serbian border police took over today from the Serbian army the control of the border with Macedonia at the border crossing in Trgoviste.
Following the border crossings Cakanovac in the municipality of Presevo and Prohor Pcinjski in the Bujanovac municipality, this is the third taking over of control of the border with Macedonia.
In that way, this procedure has been brought to an end in line with EU standards, according to which the police become the authority that guards and controls border crossings between Serbia and the neighbouring Macedonia.
