Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica received today President of the managing board and majority owner of "Formula 1" Bernie Ecclestone who said that he came to Belgrade to see for himself the possibilities for investment.

Bernie Ecclestone, owner of the licence for racing in Formula 1 said at the meeting that Serbia has made a huge step forward when it comes to economy and that it is now a good country to invest in. Also present at the meeting was Serbia's only professional Formula racing driver Milos Pavlovic.
Ecclestone stressed that Serbia has great success in sports and great sportspeople who represent their country in the best way. He also offered Milos Pavlovic any kind of assistance and help so that he may take part in Formula 1 racing as soon as possible.
Kostunica welcomed Ecclestone's arrival in Belgrade and stressed that the government is interested in providing support for all projects Ecclestone proposes to Serbia.
Bernie Ecclestone and his wife Slavica accepted the invitation to spend Serbian New Year's Eve at the plateau in front of the parliament building tonight together with the Serbian Prime Minister and President and President of Republika Srpska.
