Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica attended today the Holy Christmas liturgy in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Zemun.

The Christmas liturgy, served by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle, was attended by advisor to the Prime Minister Vladeta Jankovic and academician Matija Beckovic.
Christmas, according to the old Julian calendar, is also being marked today by the Russian Orthodox Church, the Holy Mountain and the Jerusalem Patriarchate, unlike most Christian churches that adopted the reformed Gregorian calendar.
