Serbian government demands immediate end to violence against Simic family

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica talked today by telephone with members of the Simic family from Babin Most near Obilic.
The Simic family informed the Prime Minister on the mistreatment and violence they are being subjected to by the Kosovo Police Service (KSP).
Kostunica called upon the Simic family not to leave Babin Most and their hearth, and stressed that law and justice are on our side.
He particularly stressed that today when we are celebrating Christmas – a day that marks the celebration of justice, we must all be united in protecting our people in Kosovo-Metohija.
He said that the Serbian government insists and demands an immediate end to violence against the Simic family.
During their conversation with the Prime Minister, the Simic family agreed not to leave Babin Most.
